DXRacer Chair Models
Today, we’re going to take a look at the different chair models offered by DXRacer, discuss the pros and cons of the brand, and even talk about some of the other options on the market.
The DXRacer chair models currently sold include:

These are the core gaming chair related products offered by the company. They do sell other things such as desks, jerseys, and backpacks, but this page is completely dedicated to their lineup of seats for gamers.
Formula Series
First up is the Formula Series. This model is a racing-style bucket seat that is ideal for office or eSports usage.
It comes in two color schemes: an all-black version or a black with red accents version. The Formula line is designed to support gamers of the same height and weight measurements outlined above in the Origin Series description.
Most of the other series are also dedicated to gamers within this height and weight bracket.
Racing Series
I actually started out with a Formula Series chair, but because of my extra height, I switched over to a DXRacer Racing Series chair a couple years back. I find that it has incredible support all the way from the top of my butt up to my shoulders even after I’ve been gaming for several hours.
I never felt that I could gain for more than two or three hours in smaller chairs, so this is a big bonus!
King Series
The King Series is a slightly larger chair that is recommended for players up to 300 pounds that are 5′ 9″ to about 6′ 2″ tall.
Sentinel Series
The Sentinel DXRacer chair is an even more robust build. It’s primarily meant for “big and tall” gamers.
It has a total weight capacity of 350 pounds and is suggested for taller individuals that are between 6 foot and 6′ 5″. As I mentioned above, I use a Racing Series chair comfortably at 6’5″ BUT I am a pretty thin guy.
Tank Series
Finally, the Tank Series chair from DXRacer is the largest and sturdiest of them all. This is meant for much larger people.
It can support up to 450 pounds (the company recommends limiting it to 425, though) and fits individuals 6′ 1″ to 6′ 7″ in height.
Origin Series
The Origin Series is probably the most basic gaming chair offered by DXracer. It’s well-made, has a cool racing-style appearance, and features an ergonomic design for ultimate lumbar support.
DXRacer states that this line is best suited for gamers that are 5′ 9″ or shorter and 200 pounds or less in weight.

The brand has become extremely popular due to major YouTube stars and Twitch streamers using the DXRacer gaming chairs while playing games before massive online audiences.
DXRacer is also the preferred game chair brand of many professional gaming athletes across many games including Smite, Call of Duty, Halo, Starcraft, and more. The company sponsors various teams and individual gamers as well.
DXRacer Chair Quality
If you’ve purchased gaming chairs in the past you’ve likely discovered that, depending on the brand, quality can vary quite a bit.
Some chairs are made from less-than-fabulous materials that either break down or wear out relatively quickly. Others, however, are made from strong, resilient materials that hold up for quite a while – even after extensive use.
DXRacer is a company that prides itself in creating chairs using only premium materials – and it shows.
The quality of these chairs is unmatched.
Each one is built to be tough, reliable, AND comfortable.
The chairs are all ergonomically designed to help provide ample lumbar support while also reducing strain on your buttocks and other areas of the body.
Each DXRacer chair features high-density foam padding which is super comfortable and very supportive. The exterior is typically made of high quality polyurethane leather (PU leather). The frames are made of durable metal and usually have an aluminum base.
This makes for a sturdy build that lasts a long time and provides more than enough support to allow gamers to enjoy their hobby or profession for extended periods of time without fatigue or stress.
Despite the fact that these chairs are more practical for use by PC gamers, they still make for a decent gaming chair for PS4 or seat for any console. It may look a bit odd in a living room positioned in front of a big-screen TV, but it still gets the job done quite well!

Pricing
DXRacer is known for its high-quality chairs. As such – they are far from inexpensive.
The most affordable model from this brand will still set you back about $250. The pricier models are closer to $400.
Remember, though, that this is a premium line of gaming chairs. They’re made with high quality materials, the chairs last for quite a while, they have a very sleek appearance, they are extremely comfy, and DXRacer is one of the most popular names in the biz to boot.
If DXRacer is well out of your price range, we recommend checking out these cheaper gaming chairs. They aren’t made with as premium materials, but they still serve their purpose and are fine for casual to moderate gamers.
Usage
DXRacer chairs are primarily designed for PC gamers. They are executive office-style chairs that are best suited for use behind a desk. They are becoming popular among console gamers, too, though.
If you are a console gamer that plays in front of a TV rather than a desk you may want to consider looking at other options. A gaming chair for Xbox One is more often than not a model that is designed to be on the ground or on a pedestal, not an office chair.

Where can you get a DXRacer chair? Well, to be honest, the options are a little limited.
The full lineup is available on the official DXRacer website. A few models are sold over on Newegg. Several of the popular chair models can be purchased from Amazon. Finally, the MLG variant seems to be exclusive to the official MLG store.
There are a couple other smaller retailers that seem to offer a few of DXRacer’s gaming chairs, but those aren’t as well known or reputable so we don’t recommend buying from them.

If you order a DXRacer chair and wind up having an issue with it (primarily that it’s defective in some way), you can rest assured that the company will take care of you.
DXRacer has a very responsive support team. If you purchased a chair from their website you simply need to contact them directly for assistance.
