XGN Clan: Everything You Need to Know About Xiled Gaming Network

Xiled Gaming Network, which is more commonly referred to as XGN, is an online gaming community boasting more than 12,000 members. The clan operates mostly on the Xbox One and Xbox 360 platforms and is primarily associated with games like Call of Duty: WWII, Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, Advanced Warfare, Black Ops 2, and Destiny or Destiny 2.

According to the creators of XGN, the community was originally started back in July of 2010. The majority of their original core came into existence through a break-off from one of the most recognized console gaming clans – KSI Global.

The Xiled Gaming clan promotes itself as a fun and friendly community best suited for casual players. They did, however, have a brief stint with a competitive team that participated in MLG and UMG matches. Their most notable success was their major win against CompLexity during UMG Niagara in Round 1 of the championship bracket in 2014 (source) , but then proceeded to get knocked out by Strictly Business in Round 2.

The XGN competitive team appears to be on an indefinite hiatus at this time.

The official XGN website notes that there are more than 12,000 active members in the community presently. Their own CMS, however, disputes this slightly. At the time of this writing the “statistics” section of their clan management system states that there are just over 11,000 gamers active in the clan.

Also noted on the CMS is the fact that more than half of the members still reside on the Xbox 360 platform. The remainder are mostly found on Xbox One, but a small percentage of the clan roster is accounted for as either PC or Playstation 4 players. All members are dispersed throughout over 25 different divisions.

In order to join the XGN clan, gamers must adhere to rules outlined within the community’s “code of conduct” and meet a few basic requirements. Unlike competitive clans and/or teams, Xiled Gaming does not require players to have a high K/D ratio to join.

The biggest requirements for joining include:

  1. Being at least 15 years old.
  2. Editing your XBL profile to include information about the clan in your bio and motto.
  3. Having your XBL profile publically viewable to all.
  4. Not being involved with or officially part of another gaming community.

XGN, like many of the most popular casual gaming clans, has a rank structure that members must adhere to. Ranks are acquired by working to help the community in a number of different ways, but mostly just by recruiting new members into the clan.

The ranks are as follows:

NOTE: XGN is not to be confused with XGC. Their names are quite similar, but they are two entirely different entities. Xiled Gaming Community (XGC) has been around for a lot longer, has completely different leadership, and is active on multiple platforms and games.
